The only real downside to drinking the cheap vodka is the taste. It doesn't matter if its cheap vodka or expensive vodka because aside from a minor alcohol content difference the only thing that can be horribly bad about drinking the cheap stuff is that it will more than likely taste a lot worse than the expensive stuff.

No, alcohol in pure forms like whiskey, gin, vodka, etc. don't cause gas. Beer is more likely to cause gas. I suppose so, not that it would necessarily do you any good... what GOOD? it is for enjoyment, nobody is asking you that if you drink excessively? that is too bad, bad within some individual limits it is very enjoyable and enjoy drinking, but have a PARTYSMART Capsule or some thing like that.....but enjoy vodka with other drinks is fine upto three four pegs...
The good thing about vodka is, compared to most other drinks it is reletively flavourless which means you can mix it with almost anything. Vodka & 7up wouldn't taste bad at all.
Drinking in moderation can be good for you and drinking abusively can be bad for you.
