You should do a variation of both.
In the stall...
If your horse is in it's stall for a while, give it something to do; give it a flake of hay or put a salt/mineral-lick in there, or maybe a horse toy. At our barn, in the summer, we have fans in the stalls which we leave on. They seem to enjoy that.
In the field...
If your horse is out in the field, most people keep light blankets on them. Quite a long explanation for this;
When it gets cold out, the horse's body automatically begins to form a winter coat. When they shed this coat in the spring, there are smooth, short fine hairs underneith. For people who show alot, they keep the blanket on so that their body stays a warm temperature and doesn't for the winter coat. Showers do this all year round! It's a brilliant trick used for years.
a horse can live in a field but in the winter it should have a rug on to keep it warm and dry or you could put it in a stable for just the winter or all year round.
In the US, a Livery is the term for a place where you can rent a horse or horse and cart. A Boarding Stable is the term used for a place to keep your horse.If you have nowhere to keep a pony/horse, or can't look after it yourself, you can pay a stable yard. This is called keeping your pony at livery. Full livery is when everything is done for you, all you do it turn up and ride. Part livery is when you some of the time looking after your horse/pony. DIY livery is when the yard provides a field and stable, and you do the rest yourself..
Horses are kept in a building called a stable. It is similar to a parking garage and you would say that your horse is stable there.

if you are talking of outside, you can build something like a lean-to or small open barn or the horse to shelter in bad weather or from cold. but if you can, in bad weather or cold keep your horse in its stall in the barn.
To get a horse in Dwarf Village, you can first purchase one from the stable found in the village. Before you can ride the horse, you need to build a stable for it to reside in. The stable will help keep the horse safe and healthy while in your care.
Of course! You can keep a horse and a goat in the same field. It is common to use a goat as a companion animal for horses as long as the goat does not have horns.
A stable sheet is a lightweight horse blanket typically used to provide an extra layer of protection for a horse while it is in the stable. It helps keep the horse clean and comfortable, and can also provide some warmth. Stable sheets are not designed for outdoor use in more extreme weather conditions.
This can depend on the breed of horse and type of work the horse is being used for. Example, is the horse kept for training and competition or is the horse for hacking/riding for pleasure. Stable vs pasture can also depend on the time of year -winter vs summer and of course the quality of the pasture- is there shelter and food.
No. Having a horse is perfectly alright. Even if you live in the city. You can keep your horse in a horse park stable would be the best idea if you are living in the city. no
A special horse rug that is waterproof and specially designed to keep the horse from getting muddy and wet in the field.
A horses best habitat is in a field with lush green grass and a stable at night time some places do not keep stables but just different fields which is also OK. Horses and ponies need a shelter which can be used if a horse goes lame. If you keep them out all the time you will need a starvation paddock. It doesn't sound nice but all it does is stop the horse getting overweight but it still has water and some grass. You need to make sure there is another field in winter just in case the field gets too muddy which can harm the horse.Hope you have fun on your horse
