In most places, it is not illegal to let your child sleep in your bed with you. Co-sleeping is a common practice in many cultures and can be considered a bonding experience. However, some jurisdictions have specific laws regarding child safety and welfare that could be relevant, especially if there are concerns about the child's safety or well-being. It's always best to check local laws and guidelines to ensure compliance with any regulations that may apply.
Illegal - no - but it could raise questions whether the child is being adequately cared for. Many poor people have no choice but to let children sleep on the floor because no beds are available. In some countries pretty much everyone sleeps on the floor - so it's not automatically a problem. Having a child sleep on the floor is not automatically abuse and realistically billions of people have managed just fine while sleeping on the ground - it's just usually a lot more comfortable in a nice, soft bed. If a child is forced to sleep on the floor when they could be allowed to sleep in a bed - that would raise questions too.
The age of the child is less important as is their development status. If the child is able to stay in the bed without rolling over and out of the side, then it is okay to let them sleep in there.
I don't see why not. Make sure they sleep in between you and your spouse or have a rail up on the sides of the bed so that they don't fall out. If you don't want your child to get used to it then I wouldn't do it on a daily basis. They won't want to sleep in their own bed and it will be doubly difficult to get them out of your bed when they get older.
yes
Children need their rest more than adults do. Many children have sleep issues for a variety of different reasons. A sleep number bed would be great for anyone once the right number is found to provide enough comfort for better quality sleep. Let the child test the bed every night until a comfortable number is reached for the softness or firmness of the mattress.

Who told you this? My dog sleep with me every night. They may have told you this because of them chewing on pillows and blankets or using he bathroom in your bed.
Put yourself in the child's father shoes, now how would you feel? I feel that the ex is taking advantage of you. The answer to your question: No, it is wrong on so many levels!
No, it isn't illegal; however if you care about your son, it is always a good idea to know who he will be with.
Let it sleep on the bed, which is what it's really after.
