Only if you have the correct permit to do so. You also should have some kind of insurance coverage on the animal in case there is any damage the cat does if it escapes captivity. Such as eat your neighbors dog.

In many jurisdictions it is illegal to hold any type of wildlife and in others it is illegal to keep a potentially dangerous animal. However, even if it is legal, that does not make it right. Wild animals should be left in the wild unless the animal is unable to survive because of some handicap . In such a case it should be cared for by a trained specialist.
