Perfectly normal, especially when the cat is defending something like a kitten.Cats and dogs are both predators and predators always compete with each other. Both are also territorial, so a cat will not be happy with a dog in their territory and vice versa.
Depends on the dog.
A dog and a cat. Let the dog chase the cat, if the cat gets caught, the dog is faster ;^)
Its nothing but the dog in you
the dog passed the cat, but did not chase after it.
yes and they also chase cat fish
Because you don't know how to spell chase
Both. Depending on the dog and cat, dogs can chase cats, but some feisty or territorial cats are more than capable in chasing away a dog.
1. Chase the cat. 2. Eat bones. (toy)
Dogs chasing cats is a stereotype, but they will chase cats and other things if they are excited! It also depends on territorial issues as well. If the cat had already claimed the territory, then the dog may chase it to try and get that territory, or if the dog had claimed it first, then it may chase the cat to get it off said territory.
dogs chase cats because they chase things that move and don't cats run from dogs? that's why they chase them to stop this from happening you have to have a well trained dog if you don't you might want to get rid of the cat or put the dog in a pen to make it a good dog you can flick it on the nose every time it chases your cat or you might hold it on a lease till the dog stops chasing the cat
Any dog could chase a cat ... its a prey drive and how strong their drive is, will determine if they chase ... if the dog grew up with cats, its less likely to treat cats as prey.
Do you honestly think a dog would eat a cat. Even wild dogs have sense. The most they normally do is bark or chase a cat. Only in a very, very, very, very, very rare case would a dog eat a cat, if theres ever been a case like that. Maybe if it was on the VERY brink of starvation, but probably not then either.
