My dog can eat almost anything and it seems not to do it any harm at all. If a car was a little bit more chewy, it would eat that as well.

Dogs are scavengers by nature and will eat anything that comes there way - especially if it doesn't involve any great physical exertion on their part.

So a passing locust is nothing more than a passing treat before afternoon nap, or a quick tinkle on the neighbours hydrangea.

Needless to say, many humans eat locust and find them a delicacy.
