Yes but only Children's Benedryl and supervision just in case he/she is allergic to it but only a few people and animals are allergic to it. But you do need to know how much to give and how many times a day to give it.

There are many Benadryl products on the market, and many of them are combination products with both an anti-histamine as well as decongestants, cough suppressants, pain/fever relief, etc. You can give a dog Benadryl, but only the type with just diphenhydramine.
