Tigers are large carnivorous predators. Adult Tigers can be as long as 11 feet in length and weigh upto 300 kilograms. Siberian Tigers are the largest species of Tigers and are much heavier than their Indian cousins the Bengal Tiger.
SMALLEST: Chinese tiger 3-6 feet long BIGGEST: Siberian tiger 6-13 feet There are six living tiger subspecies. I give male average weights, females are about one quarter smaller than males. 1. Siberian tiger-490-550 pounds, to eleven feet in total length 2. Bengal tiger-435-500 pounds, to ten feet, six inches in length 3.Indo Chinese tiger-390-430 pounds, to nine feet six inches in length 4.South China tiger-310-350 pounds, to eight feet, six inches in length 5. Malayan tiger-280-320 pounds, to eight feet in length 6. Sumatran tiger-250-310 pounds, to eight feet in length. * The given dimensions are average, some tigers are larger than these figures. Siberian and Bengal males will sometimes top 600 pounds in weight.
9 feet long. ;0
One of the smaller tiger subspecies, male Sumatrans average around eight feet in length. Compare this to the Bengal, 9-10 feet, or the Siberian, 10-11 feet.
Nine feet in length is small (including the tail) is small for an adult male Siberian tiger, which can reach eleven feet or more. That nine foot length would however, be common for adult tigresses.
That would be the Bengal Tiger at over 9 feet long
When they are about three years old.
depending on subspecies the length of a tiger is about 4.5 to 9 feet ( 1.4 to 2.8 metres) for the head and body length. The tail can measure 3 to 4 feet (90-120 cm)
Siberian or Amur tigers are immensely strong. In fact, for absolute muscular strength, the tiger is the strongest land animal on Earth. One Bengal tiger dragged a 3,300 pound gaur carcass for a quarter of a mile, and another dragged a fully grown cow for four miles. Bengal tigers are not as big or as strong and powerful as Siberian tigers, so just imagine what an 800 pound Siberian male could potentially move. Tigers have also been seen to be able to smash a cow's skull or break the back of a Sloth bear with a single paw swipe. No land beast can match the tiger's strength.
The size of a White Tiger depends greatly on the subspecies. Generally, the head and body length of a White Tiger is about 4 and a half to 9 feet (1.4 to 2.8 m) long. The tail adds another 3 to 4 feet (90 to 120 cm) to the total length.Tigers are about 9 to 10 feet long.actually the biggest tiger in history was a huge 14.5 feet long !Siberian male - 9 1/2 -10 1/2 feetBengal -9 - 10 1/4 feetIndo Chinese -8 1/2 -9 feetSouth China, Sumatran, Malayan - 8 - 8 3/4 feet. All lengths given are for typical males. Females are somewhat shorter.
The liger gets an abnormal growth gene from it's tigress mother, allowing it to get much larger than either a tiger or a lion. Here are comparative sizes.: Male lion-9 feet long, around 390-425 pounds. Male Siberian tiger-10'6', around 525-600 pounds. Male Bengal tiger-9'6", around 420-500 pounds. Male liger-10-11 feet long, around 650-850 pounds. Some of each species are very much larger than this, however.
NO. A tiger averages 400 - 660 pounds, sometimes 840pounds. Averages 9 - 12 feet but can be 13 feet long, 8 - 9.2 feet in body. Mexican wolf is up to five feet long and about three - three and a half feet in body. They weigh up to 84 pounds, sometimes more. A tiger would kill a Mexican wolf with one swat.
