of course it is no,t ever since the demostestication of girrafes in 1996 their population has been thriving, believe me i have two of my own and they are very well behaived, i recomend getting a full sized one rather than a miniature one, because full sized girrafes usaully potty train much more quikly and do not eat the washing machine
