Yes. Chi's are either applehead or deerheads. Look at a chi's head...is round with a short nose...that's an applehead. Does it have a longer head with a longer nose....that's a deerhead. I have a deerhead...those also have longer legs and their bodies look leaner. While a applehead has shorter legs and they look stockier.
A dear Chihuahua has longer legs then a Applehead and also more of a straighter head, while the Applehead Chihuahua has little short legs and a round head like a Apple. The Applehead Chihuahua most likely has big eyes that kind of pop out a little bit.
there over 400 or more it depends on the people that are selling them :]ALL Chihuahuas should be appleheads...there is no such thing as a deerhead!!! Yes there are...appled headed chihuahua's have short snouts, bodies and legs. Deer headed chihuahua's have longer snouts, bodies and legs!
Yes...deerhead chi's have long slender legs, longer nose and sleeker bodies. An applehead has shorter legs, shorter nose and rounder head, and their bodies are much more stockier.
Michael never said why he was nicknamed applehead.
Michael never mentioned the reason he was nicknamed applehead.
The term "teacup" is a marketing tool referring to really small, and often unhealthy cats and kittens. These are often sold at much higher prices than "regular" kittens. They are the result of unethical breeders breeding from unhealthy, deformed and undersized cats to produce what they call teacup cats. They are bred with no concerns to their health or temperament. No Cat Breed Association recognises "teacup" cats. There are such a thing as Dwarf cats, which is due to a genetic mutation. The Munchkin breed was created by a naturally occurring genetic mutation that results in cats with abnormally short legs. These are not the same as teacup cats.

I have a miniature chihuahua and she is 1year old. They are slightly bigger than a teacup. At 1year my female weighs almost 2lbs.
Yes some do. Applehead chihuahua's tend to snore because of their short noses. I have a deerhead who occasionally snores.
They can grow from 10 pounds to 15 pounds
