If you got your dog not so long ago then she/he will need to get used to a new home and family. It will take some time but try not to rush things because she/he might get confused, scared and might want to run away! It is completely normal that your dog might not play with you, maybe its because it is tired, lazy or just doesn't even want to play. I'm sure your dog will grow up to love you, just give it a little time and I'm sure she/he will be up and playing with you in no time.
Don't let this effect you in your relationship with your pets, you must bond with it so she/he doesn't feel bored and unloved. (Dogs can get very emotional)
