At the rear of the Tractor you push the lever from left to right, it can be a little tough, once you have push it far enough the unit can be pushed, make sure the brake is not in the locked position. I had several friends help me load mine into a truck we had one person just to hold the lever it was hard to pull it over but it did work

Same problem here. I went to start mind and it turned over a time or two and stopped. John Deere mechanic told me it is probably the neutral switsh located on top of the transmission. I will start there.
