Well their teeth get very dirty quickly because of all the food they eat. My Yorkshire Terrier doesn't have clean teeth because he eats a lot, but he has never seemed to be in any pain with them. Although if you are worried about your dogs teeth you can get dog toothpaste and tooth brushes at the vets if you ask them about it.
