C16 timber is sawn softwood structural timber which has been treated and strength graded
Treated grade C16 refers to a classification of timber that has been pressure-treated for durability and is suitable for structural applications. C16 indicates that the timber has a specific strength rating, making it suitable for use in building projects like floor joists, wall studs, and roof trusses. The treatment process helps protect the wood from decay, insects, and other environmental factors, enhancing its longevity in construction.
There are 16 carbon atoms in C16.
It is the second weakest grade in this scale: C14, C16, C18, С22, С24, С27, С30, С35 and С40.

A melter c16 pretty impressive huh!
It's been 4 years since I was there but I recall I was flying out of C19 and I was told 175 had used Gate C16. It could be vice versa, but my flight was definitely further on, so C16 sounds right.
The GE CK-1-C16 refrigerating machine was first introduced in the 1950s. As of 2023, this makes the machine approximately 70 years old. Its age reflects the advancements in refrigeration technology since its inception.
C16/20 cement refers to a classification of concrete strength, specifically the characteristic compressive strength of concrete at 28 days. The "C" denotes concrete, while the numbers indicate the compressive strength in megapascals (MPa) for different types of concrete mixes. In this case, C16/20 indicates that the concrete mix can achieve a minimum strength of 16 MPa in cubes and 20 MPa in cylinders. This classification is commonly used in structural applications where moderate strength is required.
