I don't think there is a rule about this. There are suggessted Mysteries for the day and the season, but more than anything, the Bible tells us that we don't pray as we should and the Holy Spirit prays for us with "inexpressible groanings". I don't think it is as important to our Blessed Mother or to God what mystery you pray, as long as you pray at all times and thank him for the blessings you have received. If you get caught up in what you should pray, or how, try praying for someone else and just lift up how you feel.
No you should pop it exactly at midnight!
No, there is no capitalize when referring to rosary beads. You may choose to capitalize when referring to set of prayers called the Rosary, but not for rosary beads.
To say the rosary, begin with the Sign of the Cross, then recite the Apostles' Creed. On each bead, say an Our Father, followed by a Hail Mary for each of the ten beads in a decade, and conclude with a Glory Be. After each decade, reflect on a specific mystery from the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, or Luminous mysteries before moving to the next decade, finishing with the Hail Holy Queen at the end.
I don't have rosary beads, but do have prayer beads and I carry them in a small velvet bag.
After midnight the night before the procedure, the patient should not eat or drink anything.
As a private devotion, the Rosary does not have any absolute requirements on how it is said. Normally, the Joyful Mysteries are prayed on Mondays and Saturdays, the Sorrowful on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Glorious on Wednesdays and Sundays, and the Luminous on Thursdays. However, it would permissible to pray any of the mysteries any day and it seems fitting to pray the Joyful Mysteries on Christmas Day. There are also other forms of the Rosary, such as the Franciscan Crown Rosary, which might be appropriate.
Whatever time before midnight!
If you are talking about actually making a rosary, that would depend entirely on what kind of rosary you were making, what materials you were using, and how skilled you were. If you are talking about praying an average rosary (one set of five mysteries), then your prayer should take about twenty minutes if you are doing it correctly. See the related question below on how to properly pray the rosary.
The rosary contains a medal - exorcism medal - of St. Benedict that should offer protection from evil spirits, from the devil and his cohorts.
It simply means that you need to get a new one! - or repair the old one. The Rosary is simply an object and should not be venerated as anything special. It is simply an aid to prayer and, if God is the centre of your prayer (and He should be!) then the Rosary is unimportant and merely an object to help that prayer. Any special veneration of an inanimate object like a Rosary can lead to idolatry. Therefore, if your Rosary breaks, simply repair it or get a new one - or just pray to God without one as most Christians across the world do.
Good question! To call them a pair is incorrect - more properly, it should be called a set of rosary beads since there are more than two beads.
A rosary is not meant to be worn, outside of a religious habit. In other words, some religious brothers, sisters, monks, and nuns have a rosary hanging from their belt as part of their religious habit. Very occasionally, I have seen an older lady who walks to Church who does not have pockets or a handbag wear her rosary around her neck, but this is rare. Young people who have plenty of pockets and such should never have a rosary around their neck where it would show as this can be taken the wrong way by religious people who pray the rosary daily.
