Well, darling, animals don't exactly have a luxury condo on K2. The mountain is a harsh environment with extreme cold and limited food sources, so you won't find any furry critters frolicking around up there. Maybe some birds flying overhead, but that's about it.

bears~Actually, there are few animals in the higher Karakoram ranges. Some large sheep, the Marco Polo sheep, the very rare snow leopard, and some birds here and there, but there are very few, if any, large mammals such as bears. There is no food for big animals like that.
