Haflingers can be used for just about any equine sport or activity. Many are excellent trail mounts, and they tend to be good lower level sport ponies.
Arabian and Alpine Pony are crossed to make a Halflinger!! :]]
Yes, they are built like a draft
Haflinger ponies aren't the largest horses, but some are still suitable for adults. Of course, this also varies according to the adults. They are always 14.3hh or less, so no exceedingly tall or large adults should ride the horses.
There are many different breeds of horses, each with its own characteristics and strengths. Some popular breeds include the Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, Arabian, and Clydesdale. These breeds can vary in size, color, temperament, and intended use, such as for racing, showing, or riding.
Iomud, or maybe a Akhal-Teke, Appaloossas are colorful, as well a pintos. Paso Finos or Palominos maybe, oh, and I almost forgot! The Quarter Horse! Those are all nice horses. I would say mine are Halflingers, Arabians, Quarter Horses, Paint Horses, and Fjord's..but I could go on and on. If your looking to buy a horse I would suggest either a Paint Horses or Quarter Horses, or a Halflinger...All amazing breeds.
It depends on what type of English riding you are talking about! In Dressage the most common and successful breeds are Warmbloods, Hanovarians, Oldenburg and Holsteiners. In Jumping anything from thoroughbreds to warmbloods.
