Insight learning in Dog Training occurs when a dog suddenly understands how to solve a problem without trial-and-error. Examples include a dog figuring out how to open a gate by observing its surroundings or learning to navigate an obstacle course by recognizing patterns. Another example is a dog that learns to retrieve a toy from a difficult location after observing the owner’s method of reaching it. These instances demonstrate the dog’s ability to comprehend their environment and apply that understanding to achieve a goal.
Examples of associative learning include classical conditioning (Pavlov's dog salivating at the sound of a bell) and operant conditioning (a rat learning to press a lever for food). Other examples include taste aversion learning (associating a specific food with illness) and spatial learning (associating landmarks with specific locations).

Pavlov's dogs are the most well-known examples of associative learning. Whenever Pavlov fed the dogs, he would ring a bell, so eventually when the bell rang the dogs expected food.

Look at Kohler's research on the mentality of apes. That will give you an idea. Basically, it tells how chimpanzees in tests, were able to look at a situation with no readily apparent solution, and think about the puzzle, look at what possible tools they have to use, and figure out a way to get to their prize, food. Huamns do this all the time, but this research showed that apes, and sometimes dogs and cats have this insightful learning ability, though it is more developed in apes. Hope this helps! Take Care! umm... that is a hard question... they are to some point, but they can be extremely stubborn... they are very very intelligent dogs and enjoy learning, so training a rottweiler is a dog way to build a bond them ... you do have to spend a LOT of time with them, and you have to be very consistent with your training
They are outside dogs unless they have some kind of training.
