Do cocker spaniels swim?

95% of dogs can swim. Cocker spaniels do swim but were naturally bred to hunt birds and small mammal's. Sometimes, if there is a duck in the water the cocker spaniel will leap and do whatever it takes to get that prey. So if you have a cocker spaniel and you find it attacking a bird in the backyard or trying to catch a squirrel this is perfectly normal.

Not all American Cocker Spaniels moan all the time; individual behavior can vary widely among dogs. Some may moan as a form of communication or to express excitement or discomfort, while others may be quieter. Do cocker spaniels get along with other Cocker spaniels?

Yes. they should do :) They are a lovely breed of dog. The only aggressive Cocker spaniels I have met are golden cockers. But if you've had a cocker spaniel for many years, and then decide to bring home a puppy, they might get a little jealous. So be careful. but if you get them the same time. it should be fine :) x

Do American cocker spaniels shed a lot?

American Cocker Spaniels do shed, but the amount can vary from dog to dog. They have a medium-length coat that requires regular grooming, which helps manage shedding. While they are not considered heavy shedders compared to some other breeds, they do experience seasonal shedding, particularly in the spring and fall. Regular brushing can help keep their coat healthy and reduce the amount of hair that ends up around the house.

Dry food no liquid food. I prefer Iams dog Chow for dogs or Puppy chow for puppies. Maybe some Beneful too. But only the chicken and beef ones.
