Sheep grow wool, goats do not.

Goats have facial hair on their chins that are "GOATees" (try googling it if you don't know this masculine facial hair looks like). Sheep have very tidy faces with practically no facial hair.

Then Goats always have horns, male or female. Sheep usually don't have horns, except some species of sheep but are usually on the males.

To make it simple:

If it has horns, looks kinda skinny, and has facial hair- its a goat.

If it doesn't have big pointy horns, looks kinda fluffy, and has a soft-looking face- its a sheep.

If it has big curly horns, looks buff, and its staring you down- Watch out! its actually a RAM!
