What are the differences between the habitats of lions and tigers?

Both Lions and Tigers are apex predators but they have some key differences. Some are:

1. Tigers are solitary whereas Lions live in a pride
2. Male Tigers has to search for females to mate while Male Lions maintain a harem of lionesses
3. Female Tigers take the sole responsibility of cubs individually while all female lionesses in a pride share the responsibility

Lions are somewhat scavengers and will eat prey killed by other animals like hyenas and cheetahs. Tigers only eat what they prey upon and kill themselves. Lions seem to prey on larger animals for food like giraffes and zebras while the tiger will kill smaller prey like monkeys, deer, and pigs more often than something larger.
