The raw statistical odds of someone randomly being born on a particular day of the year would be approximately 1 in 365, all other things being equal.

However, using Nagele's rule one could attempt to conceive a child on a particular day so that gestation would occur on or neat a particular day. If this was done, the odds would not be so small. It is likely that given a normal healthy gestation, the baby could be born within +/- 3 days of this date, making the odds closer to 1 in 6, or 1 in 3 assuming a normal gestation with no birth complications. The mother could even influence the odds by working with a Doctor Who might find it practical to induce labor or perform a c-section on a planned date. (though having the same birthday as one's grandfather would never be weighed prominently against any potential risks to the mother or child).

Many complications, genetic, environmental, and just plain unlucky do unfortunately exist to befuddle gestation and birth of a healthy newborn. Any one or more of these complications would change the statistics.

Trying to figure all of this into an overall estimate is virtually impossible and would require a team of actuaries who knew your genetic and medical history of both parents as well as home environmental factors.

Who was Prince William's great great great great great great grandfather?

That depends upon which family line you wish to follow. Like everyone else, Prince William has two grandfathers, four great-grandfathers, eight great-grandfathers... and so on. If you follow his male-line paternal ancestry, his sixth great-grandfather was Prince Karl Anton August (born 1727, died 1759) of the dukedom of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck. However, if you follow the lineage of the British monarchy, another of his sixth great-grandfathers was King George III (1738-1820) of the house of Hanover.
