Humans didnt technically come from primates like evryone actually thinks the truth is that we a common ancestor and threw evolution we separated and developed differently. You can think of it like a tree humans apes primates all came from the same ancestor or branch but we are on different twigs so to speak so we broke apart and developed in different ways. However some things that humans have in common with primates are our metabolsiam, chromsomes make up and are DNA is actually 99% the same. but some other things are there hands, facial structure, and social groups. Although these parts of humans have further developed (ie. are thumbs) they are very similar to each other.

The oldest primate group in the fossil record is generally considered to be the plesiadapiforms, which date back to the Paleocene epoch, around 65 million years ago. These small, arboreal mammals exhibit some primitive primate characteristics, although they are not classified as true primates. Their fossil remains provide crucial insights into the early evolution of primates and their adaptations to tree-dwelling life.
The Philippine tarsier is a nocturnal arboreal primate. Relatives of the Philippine tarsier are the Bornean tarsier of Borneo and Sumatra, and Dian's tarsier of Indonesia.

Even arboreal animals can fall from trees. It's less likely to happen because they have various adaptations to life in the trees depending on their niche and they get a lot of practice. Prehensile tails, opposable thumbs etc.

An arboreal lifestyle refers to animals that live primarily in trees, using them for shelter, safety, and food sources. These animals have adaptations that allow them to move and navigate through tree canopies efficiently. Examples of arboreal species include monkeys, squirrels, and some species of birds.
It is an nocturnal arboreal animal native of Madagascar. It has rodent like teeth and a special thin middle finger. It is the worlds largest nocturnal primate and an endangered species
No, sloths cannot fly. They are arboreal mammals that spend most of their time in trees and move slowly. They do not have the physical adaptations to fly.
Arboreal animals breathe by using their lungs to take in oxygen from the air. They may have adaptations like increased lung capacity or efficient respiratory systems to support their active lifestyle in the trees. Additionally, some arboreal animals, like primates, may have adaptations in their anatomy to aid in climbing and breathing simultaneously.
