If she starts eating them or just stops taking care of them. Due to maternal instincts, it's highly unlikely.
you can touch the puppies, it is actually good to play with them, unless the Mamma does not like it and bites you. Mothers are very protective over their pups, but you can handle them.
Usually a father dog does not know his pups
No, I don't think so.
Your gonna have to feed the pups yourself if you don't your pups will die. If the dogs breast are swollen then your dog is sick.
it can take up to 2 hours between pups being born, if the 2 pups she had were still born there could be a health issue with the dog. what kind of dog do you have? what have you done with the stillborn pups? is your dog digging in the area where the pups were born? keep an eye on this digging behavior as she could have pups inside her still if it continues take her to the vet.
The larger the dog the larger the litter
yes
no if you have 2 females and ones going to have pups the other female will mate (if she can) and then they will share pups i know this as it has just happened with my dogs
Big dogs can have up to 8 or 9 pups
my dog had pups and it was 4 but now i have 2 can not find the other 2.
Pups/puppies.
