IT COULD BE ANY BREED OF RABBIT BUT IN THIS CASE IT SOUNDS LIKE AN ALBINO!!
The rabbit is a Forrest rabbit. These change to winter fur that is white. The color is for camouflage against larger predators and there for white for the winter snow
An albino rabbit is a rabbit that lacks the pigment melanin in its skin, fur, and eyes, resulting in a white or pale appearance. Albino rabbits have pink or red eyes due to the lack of pigment in the iris.
Depending on it's size, you either have a blue eyed white Netherland Dwarf or a white Beveren (assuming that you have a purebred rabbit.) There are no other breeds of rabbit accepted by the ARBA that have blue eyes. Of course there is always the possibility that it is a crossbreed rabbit.
well when my rabbit had babies the mom was black and white and the dad was grey and they both had brown eyes yet the babies had fur colors like orange or white with red eyes. so the color dosnt rely on the color of the parents but on the colors that the specific breed can turn out to have.
You are probably allergic to the rabbit's dandruff or fur.
there are many ways of telling the breed of a rabbit here are a few the color of the fur the lenght of the ears size eye color and markings ~Agashe
The person you bought the rabbit from didn't know what breed it was??? If they didn't sell the rabbit to you as a pure bred it probably isn't. If it has really short fur it could be a rex. White with black spots means the color is broken. The color variety is broken as opposed to a black rabbit or a white rabbit yours is a broken rabbit. A Broken Rex Rabbit is my best guess but I would bet that if you paid less than $30.00 for it it is a crossbreed rabbit, not a rex.
A white mouse usually looks like what people refer to as "lab mice". White mice can have long or short fur, depending on what breed you get. Most white mice have red or pink eyes, though you can get some with brown eyes.
qualitative observation
MIGHT be a Dutch Rabbit. Need a better description.
its very hard to get a black dog with blue eyes, dogs with blue eyes are usually white but for everything else the only breed i can think of is the Akida, large dog, very similar to the Husky and Malamute breeds and can come in white, black and various other colours and blue eyes are not that rare in the breed
Wild rabbits fur color is designed for camo. A wild hare will have a color that is called Aguti in domesticated rabbits. And again a snow hare will have a white coat to blend in with the snow. Domesticated rabbits on the other hand, their fur color comes from genetics. For example you breed a black rabbit to a black rabbit you are going to get 3/4 black and 1/4 what is in their pedigree.
