Only nationally or world-famous horses are made into Breyer models. Once a horse reaches that level, Breyer may choose to consider it :)
thoroughbred
The Lone Ranger's horse, Silver, was a white horse, often referred to as a "white" in the equestrian world. The specific breed of Silver is not explicitly mentioned in the original radio, television, or film adaptations. However, in some versions, Silver is portrayed as a white stallion, resembling a horse of Spanish or Arabian descent. The emphasis is more on the horse's symbolic representation of purity, loyalty, and strength rather than a specific breed.
Breyer was founded in 1950, and was orignally Breyer Molding Company, a molding company based in Chicago. The first model horse was known as #57 Western Horse (you can see a picture on the link below). #57 was originally a special order for a mantelpiece clock for the F.W Woolworth Company. But Breyer Molding Co. was absolutely flooded with requests for the horse. And that changed Breyer's path completely to what we see it as today!See the related links section below to read more about Breyer's history as one of the top model horse producers in the world!

The larges horse recorded was a Shire.
There are literally thousands of Stablemates. Breyer's website (see related link below) has a list of some... A few months in advance, Breyer releases it's FEI World Games collection (which has eight or so Stablemates; one for each event). Otherwise, there are numerous kits such as the Saddle Club sets. And, there are the normal SMs that represent their breed: such as the Arabian. newtest3 Actually, there is an infinite amount. If you customize one of the zillions created, you made a new horse. This is true with all Breyer models.
There are actually very few riders/dolls compared to the horses. Breyer tends to focus on finding more horses than riders. In the major equestrian world, there are few African American champions. Breyer has to agree to the majority of the riders in the world. But you never know, they might make more dolls soon!
Bullseye in "Toy Story 2" is depicted as a toy horse representing the Breyer model of a Western-style horse, which draws inspiration from the American Quarter Horse breed. His design features a stocky build, a friendly demeanor, and a brown coat with white markings, typical of many toy horses. Bullseye's character embodies loyalty and playfulness, fitting seamlessly into the toy world alongside Woody and the other characters.
This would be difficult to list here, but this website has just about every horse breed known to mankind.
I would say quarter horse
