I think ( and this is me ) that the Border Collie or German Shepard would be the most liked breed of a dog. I myself have 2 beautiful Border Collies and i love them dearly. They and German Shepard are like the same. They may be a bit more harder to look after but they love you and will always give you gifts such as a broken dog toy or a small dead animal. But still they are lovely company and i would recommend them to anyone that has a big backyard and a lot of toys.

dogs are much better smellers that humans. There smelling is 5 times better then humans. If u want a dog that is good at smelling and good with children a German Shepard is right for you if you have a house and a yard for running because a German Shepard is a big dog. I wouldn't get it if i had small children.
German Shepherds are a powerful breed, smaller breeds such as Collies and small Terriers obviously aren't as strong.
A reputable breeder breeds German Shepherd's as they adore the breed and wish to keep the breed pure and worthy of its lineage. Then... BYB's [back yard breeder's] who breed a couple for some quick money and finally, Puppy Miller's who keep various breeds in small cages and breed them, making a huge profit.
No that would be very stupid. Yorkies are small and GSD's big.
A whippet is a classified, pedigree breed. (looks like a small greyhound) a lurcher is not a pedigree breed as lurcher's are a greyhound crossed with absolutely anything, seen as a mutt in some peoples eyes. the original lurcher was a briard Shepard dog crossed with a greyhound. hope this answers your question
the dog was originally bred for food in mexico, they were considered a delicacy becae they were small-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------They're small mainly because humans wanted them small. With pets and livestock, the owners have a certain control over which animals that gets to breed. That way, it's possible to influence the shape, size and looks of a breed over the course of generations. Want small dogs - only let small dogs breed.
'freeway' breed was a Lowchen ( German for 'Little Lion )
A medium- or small-sized dog of a German breed with a close wiry coat and heavy whiskers around the muzzle.
