my dog eats Chinese spare ribs often - probably an average of 4 to 6 bones per week. The local restaurant I frequent actually saves her a bag or two of bones each week in their freezer for her, then when I come in, they give them to me for her.

Other than a bit of flatulence once in a while - which might not even be from the ribs - she's fine.

Just make sure your dog always CHEWS the bone, rather than SWALLOWING the bone whole.

What is the direct and indirect object in The dog ate the food?

Food is the direct object. This sentence does not have an indirect object. The D.O. answers the question "the dog ate what?" An indirect object would answer the question "for whom / to whom / for what?" as in "I gave the dog a bone." I gave what? A bone (D.O.) I gave the bone to whom? The dog (I.O.)

What is the best bone to give to your puppy pomchi and should it be cooked or raw?

Rather than giving your dog a bone from meat you ate, I would go to the store and buy a raw hide bone. These are safer for your dogs, as other bones can crack and splinter easily, potentially harming your animal. Under no circumstances should you give your dog a chicken bone. They can break these easily and they can cause serious damage!

How can I safely take a bone away from a dog?

To safely take a bone away from a dog, approach the dog calmly and confidently. Offer a treat or toy as a trade for the bone.
