What causes constant panting in Labrador?

Dog pant no only because they are hot but could also be a sign of a health problem. Some cold weather dogs seem to pant more than others. Be sure your dog has fresh cold water at all times.

Dogs don't sweat, so they pant to get rid of excessive body heat. Your dog may be just hot, it shouldn't be anything to worry about. Also, if your dog may be a female and not "fixed" it may be her time of the month. Female Dogs are known to pant due to uncomfortability.
