Horses can graze on Crofton Weed for as little as 8 weeks and cause poisoning. Treatment of the poisoning is unlikely to reverse the damage, so early detection is a must. First sign of poisoning is coughing increased with excercise. Horses must be moved off the weed at first indication of coughing. Seek veterinary advice if you suspect anything.
