The deep-sea creature you're referring to is likely the octopus, which typically has eight arms but can sometimes be thought of as having ten limbs if including its siphon. When threatened, octopuses can release a cloud of ink to obscure their escape, providing a chance to flee from predators. These intelligent animals are known for their adaptability and complex behaviors in the ocean's depths.
A decabrachi (or decabrachius) is a creature with ten arms.
There is no known creature to have "ten tentacles" (an octopus has eight arms, a squid has eight arms and two tentacles).

Is an umberula not a deep water sea creature? It resembles a combination of a plant and an octopus. I have seen one in a documentary after the Indonesian Tsunami. An underwater submersible was sent down to examine the continental shift that had taken place and an umberula was discovered and brought aboard. It died soon afterwards. It was said by the narrator that little is known about them because only ten had ever been found and at the time it not been clearly defined as plant or creature, though it has characteristics of both.
