He distorts information and selectively presents facts to support the ruling pigs' agenda and suppress any dissent among the animals.
because squealer uses his propaganda to convince the animals that napoleon is selling the eggs for a profit to help the farm. the profit that he is making, actually is his money to buy more alcohol for the pigs.
By this i assume you mean the book animal farm. This depends on perspective, Napoleon (the pig) is portrayed to be bad and mean therefore this was a bad thing. However Napoleon will have seen it as a good thing.
The animal rankings in the book goes as follows: Napoleon>Squealer>Humans>Other animals. As you can see, Napoleon worked himself up to the top with rumors, propoganda, and lies. He represents Stalin. Squealer, who represents Lenin, is his ever faithful lackey and helps him to spread his propoganda, lies, and rumors. The humans represent the richer folk in Russia at the time, being equal but at the same time not as equal as Stalin. And the other animals represents the working class, the peasents, and the regular citizens.
