Aside from the mother's milk, you can start to mix a little wet kitten food with kitten milk. A lot of the time the mother will end up showing the babies how to eat. It is advisable to refrain feeding kitten dry food while they are so young as they will no have strong enough jaw muscles to crunch down - kibble is incredibly hard and brittle.

If the Mother is still there, They drink/eat her milk. If it is not there, Try using a baby bottle and put warm Kitten Milk Replacer in it and feed them every two hours. That should make them feel like there eating from there mother.

Some kittens might start taking an interest in very soft solid food around this age.

Well, it would be smart idea if you let the kitten drink milk from its mother. Though if it can't, you can go buy kitten formula somewhere to feed it. That's what I did when my cat wouldn't sit still long enough for them to feed, but by the time we noticed it, the kittens were really sick and they died. ._. Kittens are normally weaned by the mother cat at around 4-5 weeks, so at 7 weeks they should be able to eat solid food. However, until about 8 weeks they have trouble chewing dry food, so you can either feed moist kitten food (or moisten dry kitten food) or get a special kitten food with extremely small kibbles that they don't really need to chew much.

They can also eat baby food as long as it's meat and extremely "bland" (a lot of things that humans use for flavoring meat dishes, like onions and garlic, are toxic to cats, so be sure it doesn't contain any of those).
