I have cared for oppossums at the petting zoo where I work and also have rescued.
They are opportunistic omnivores, meaning, they'll eat just about anything.
Of course, they love cat food, dog food and the like, they LOVE grapes and cherries as well.
Try offering a sardine or two and you'll have a friend for life.
