Yes it is actually good for them, it gives them energy and vitamin D but if you give them the wet kind they can suffer from illnesses due to the dog food. But the dry kind is ok. If they did eat wet dog food side affects or the illness may cause: loss of concsiousness or bleeding from urinal activity, or even blindness. You may be thinking that they are the exact same thing but they are not. They are very different indeed. So hedgehogs can eat dry not wet dog food.
