Well a tiger can addapt easily according to its surrounding like if it lives in a jungle or some place like that then the only way to survive is to eat whats available like other animals and over time the tiger has adapted to those ways of life. but if the tiger is a pet which i highly recomend a cat or a dog cause they cant eat u when they get hungry but anyways if the tiger is a pet and the food is given to the tiger everyday it will then addapt to those ways of life.
