In the American west the mustangs roam what is considered their 'range'. In other parts of the world it could be called a habitat.

Because of wild horse hunts in the US , some horses and now being kept in very large fenced " sanctuary " areas.

Sometimes that can mean horses that are abandoned and are taken to a "horse Home" or that could mean a barn or stable

A horses 'house' would be called stable or a barn. Within that barn or stable there would be stalls for each individual horse.
