What do you do if your dog got into his food and ate too much?

Once my dog got into the cupboard and ate all the treats for him and a couple of packets of noodles. He was sick for a while, but we called the vet and he just had to rest, but if they get sick, they will just through it all up then be hungry again, so dont give it any more food until the next morning. If it is still unwell and you only give it a little bit of food, aske your vet for assistance. As long as it only ate its own doggie food, it should be fine.

My dog is a jack Russell Terrier and he kills and eats roadkill all the time. Usually I keep an eye on him for a couple of days to make sure he is feeling fine. If he starts vomiting or having pooping problems just take him to the vet to get some meds for him.

If it's had a lot of something that's not too bad (like chocolate or candy) the dog will do nothing more than have diarrhea or throw up. But if it's something bad like fertilizer, the dog may have seizers and permanent damage.

Show it a mirror, then give it a pat on the head. Also, check that your cat is still alive and the dog has not eaten that too.
