this is a basic deer trap you can also use a snare trap or even a hog trap as seen here
You can get it on the plains, using the best bait and trap thet you can use.
Animal Control has told me to use raw bacon with salt dumped on it.
feeder fishing is when you can use bait inside your feeder as well as ground bait method feeder is much better for bait placement and you don't put particles in your ground bait because its designed for just ground bait or softend pellets.
I believe you are trying to ask what type of food/bait to use in a mouse trap. I bait my live traps with a small amount of peanut butter and a birdseed mixture that I stick onto the peanut butter. It almost never fails! Also, it doesn't matter what type of trap you use - this type of bait works in any trap (unless it's a glue trap, but please don't use one - they are horrific and barbaric).
The best bait to use for catching crabs is typically raw chicken necks or fish heads. These baits are effective in attracting crabs to your trap or line.
To use cat food as crab bait, simply place a small amount of cat food in a bait cage or trap and submerge it in the water where crabs are present. The strong scent of the cat food will attract the crabs, making it an effective bait option.
Lobsters aka Homarus Americanus, are bottom feeding animals and best caught using a trap. The trap is typically an easy entry and impossible exit for lobsters. The primary bait for lobster traps is cod fish heads. Some aggressive lobster anglers (particularly when fishing for Caribbean spiny lobster) fish by hand with snorkle or scuba gear.
Use a humane spring type trap with bait and when caught release in the wild
There is no reason they should, except to "please" the human user. It certainly won't help the trap catch any mice as the mice are attracted to the bait by smell not what it looks like. The best bait to use on a monstrap is actually peanut butter, not cheese. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I believe that the fake cheese is impregnated with the smell of cheese to attract the vermine to the trap. Being fake the cheese will not be eaten meaning the trap can work for some time without adding new/real bait.
One way to catch a mouse without using a trap is to use a bucket or container with a ramp leading up to it. Place some bait at the top of the ramp to lure the mouse into the container. When the mouse climbs up the ramp to get the bait, it may fall into the container and be caught.
Whether ground bait needs to be wet or not depends on many variables. In particular, the underwater current and the type of fish you would like to attract. Example; if you would like to attract fish at the bottom, then the moisture level of the gorund bait needs to be enough so that the ground bait sinks to the bottom, without being dragged elsewhere due to current or eaten by small fish. When you are attracting fish at the surface it would be advisable to use minimal water or on occasions none, so that the ground bait remains at the surface.
