What does a Labrador Retriever eat in the wild?

Though, to watch one fight, you would not agree with me, however, they are NT wild animals, so they d not exist, in the wild. They are what you would call, "domesticated", animals. Which means they cannot fend for themselves, but, depend upon their owners for survival.........Chuck.

Like all domesticated dogs, Labrador retrievers have never been "in the wild." Sometimes domesticated dogs do end up living in the woods or bush on their own; these are called feral dogs, and they eat the same things that wolves and other mammals eat: meat from animals caught, insects, berries, fallen fruit, etc.

Labradors were originally bred in what is now Newfoundland and Labrador, so it is likely at that time about 150-200 years ago Labradors ate largely human scraps consisting of fish, duck, venison, other domesticated and wild meats, grains, and fruits and vegetable matter.
