Actually newborn kittens look like kittens. They have fur, tiny and cannot walk. Kittens are also blind but like cats in general, they have a keen sense of smell and feeling, and that is how they are able to locate their mom's nipple to be fed.

TABBY generally refers to the coat pattern on a cat. Dark markings (stripes, swirls, spots) on a paler background. The stripe colour is solid (goes right to the hair root), but the background colour is banded with colour on each individual hair.

Domestic cats, like other species of cats, generally have the same sort of body shape. Cats have relatively short but powerful legs for pouncing, a flexible spine for running, jumping and climbing, and a long prehensile tail which is mostly used for balance, although it is also a good indicator of a cat's mood.
