A lot of people say " a goat can eat a tin can " but that is not true. goats have semi- sensitive stomach's and will get sick or die from certain things. i gave my small goat an apple once and she had diarrhea the next day . a specific plant that is poisonous to goats and many other animals is MILKWEED. milkweed is a round fat type of plant and if you break it , inside will be white thin , milk like liquid. if a goat eats this in its hay or pasture it could die in 24 hours . if your goat is very weak and laying down a lot it could be poisoned. try to get it to drink and eat and call a vet. there are other thinks goats can not eat , like wilted cherry tree leaves,azalea, and citrus . be careful and monitor what your goats eat.
