to go all out to get someone angry.
The phrase "I'm going whole hog to get your goat" means that someone is fully committed and putting in maximum effort to annoy or provoke a reaction from you. "Going whole hog" is an idiom that means doing something completely or with full effort, while "get your goat" is another idiom that means to irritate or anger someone. Therefore, when combined, the phrase implies a deliberate and thorough attempt to upset or provoke a response from you.
There's not an idiom, but some slang terms include hog, chopper or bike.
In reference to Southern barbecue (of which the staple meat is pork), cooking a whole hog, rather than individual cuts such as ribs or shoulders, is as far as it can be taken.Rather than a simple BBQ serving small cuts which serve comparatively small groups, a pig pickin' (an event at which a whole hog is cooked and served) easily feeds 50 people. Thus its easy to see how going the whole hog means going all the way.

My main concern here is with the shoulder. If you are interested in going whole hog there is a different process for you.
