you wold think that the pitbull would have the upper hand because it has a strong jaw but chow chow have very strong jaws to also if the pit bull were to bite a chow chow the chow thick fur will protect it until the chow chow kills or either stops the fight

Depends on who wants it more. Chows bite force is 220, Pits at 230. Not much difference. Pits have endurance, Chows are stronger and have their mane. Could go either way if Chow sees the Pit coming. If Pit takes it off guard, it will likely best the Chow.
