every dog can be loving big or small and yes this does include pit bulls many don't understand dogs with a history of hog fighting and stuff of that sort but all that dogs seek is a loving caring family with pit bulls there is one more thing they seek and that is respect but to answer the shedding part all dogs shed (atleast as far as i know they do) if you don't want allot of shedding get a short haired dog i own 2 Australian Shepperd German Shepperd's both sister one long haired ( more Australian) and one short hair (more German) they are small dogs as they are mini Aussies but my short hair does not shed very much at all so i would recommend just a short haired dog of your choice
One answer:The toy poodle. They're very affectionate and eager to please, which makes them easy to train. They seldom weigh over 10 pounds, and do not shed their coat...only small amounts of dander. Many people who are allergic to dog dander find poodles tolerable.Properly cared for, toy poodles have a fairly long average lifespan; 15-18 years.
Poodles are not without their drawbacks. Since their hair grows continuously, they need regular grooming or their coat will get badly matted. Poodles also tend to develop cataracts, which can blind them long before they reach their life expectancy.
(Don't confuse toy poodles with "teacups," which are not an officially recognized variety of poodle. Teacups are tiny and sure, they're cute, but they're the result of breeding "toy runts" and are prone to lots of health problems and short lifespans.)
Probobly a labradoodle. They don't shed, they are smart and loving, and can brighten anyone's day.
I have a dog that is really sweet shes a shnauzer. a shnauzer is small, sweet, playful, loving, listens to you, has alot of fur, and very good to train. just like my dog!!
In my opinion, a Havanese. You might not know the breed, but I can tell you. They don't shed, they are easy to train, they don't get really big, and best of all, they are loving.
Well they dont shed a huge amount because they are a small dog. They do shed though because they do have longer hair but they are a small breed.
I would like for other people to comment as well. My favorite dog breed is a Bichon Frise they are so loving and dont shed and are comepletely gorgeous and I have one named London and another named Paris

shedding actually depends on the breed of dog. for instance, some breeds do not shed at all.
The breed of dog suggested for a loving family (you, your parents, and sister) depends on if you want a house dog or outside dog. If you want an outside dog, a German Shepherd would be a good breed. For an indoor dog, the English Bulldog is a good breed.
Poodle. They are the only breed of dog that doesn't shed at all. Any other hypoallergenic breed of dog would be a poodle cross.
Toy poodles are good. They don't shed (if you are allergic) but they do require haircuts. They are really cute and lovable.
Yes, the Chinese Crested dog is a very small breed of dog.
Do you mean the breed of dog originating in Central America?
