Why are trained protection dogs so expencive when you can go to a breeder and buy a German shephard a rottweiler or Doberman puppy for a quarter of the price?
Because those dogs have been specifically trained for that purpose so there worth allot more, for eg you could get a German shephard or rottweiler that's very insecure and seems quite aggressive when in fact if you were to com front that dog he'd probably run away, but a trained protection,guard dog has no doubt in its mind that it can protect its owner,families even if you are armed with a shot gun it still wont back down, the police say that allot of violent criminals would rather fight 10 police officers than one police dog
