I would generally say a bitch...but please have her desexed! The advantages are they are often gentler than dogs, good with kids and visitors, and they are less territorial (but still make good guard dogs if needed) The best thing about this is that bitches do not feel the need to mark their territory constantly by peeing on everything in the garden and when being walked..this is my least favourite trait of dogs! Even de sexed dogs may also try and mount other dogs, which can result in aggressive reactions and unhappy owners... They are also more likey to escape and roam the neighbourhood, undesirable for many obvious reasons! I have had dogs all my life and have had beautiful examples of each..but bitches can often be easier..

The superlative form is "most faithful" and the comparative is "more faithful".
