NO! You never tape a bull terrier's ears, never! Why would you want to?! They go up on their own, just be patient!
Assuming you're asking about a puppy's ears, there are different ways of getting its ears to stand up and you should ask your breeder or veterinarian to show you the techniques. Done incorrectly, you can permanently damage the puppy's ears.
Staffordshire bull terriers are up to 16 inches, American Pit Bull Terriers can grow to 18 inches, and American Staffordshire Terriers can grow to 20 inches tall.
No their ears stand up on their own.
Personally I think it would I've had staffys all my life and pretty much all of mine when they hear sudden sounds or when they were called there ears used to prick right up.

i don't think there's a way to just make them go up, it's a natural course. they will go up eventually, you just gotta be patient, and don't panic if one starts to go up before the other, mine did that, he was so funny! lol! he other ear will follow soon after. :)
You don't have to look up for the breed that created it since there is a lot of bull terries around to buy a puppy.
Cairn Terriers generally have ears that hang down naturally and may not stand up like some breeds. If you want to support their ears standing up, you can try massaging their ears regularly and ensuring they have a healthy diet with adequate nutrients for ear cartilage development. However, it's important to remember that not all Cairn Terriers' ears will stand up and it's best to appreciate them for their natural appearance.
Staffordshire Bull Terriers are no more aggressive as a breed than any other dog. It all comes down to the owners and how they are brought up! I have 16 month old who is great with other dogs and children.
Norwich terriers are only brown (or have a brown stripe down their back) and have thick wire hair. Cairn Terrier fur is light brown and can have a little black--usually around ears and nose/beard (others are all black), and is much softer and not as dense as a norwich terrier.
Staffordshire Bull Terriers are usually between 14-16 inches tall at the shoulder - but there are the exceptions.
