The Gunpowder Plot is remembered every year on the 5th November (Guy Fawkes Night, or Bonfire Night). People enjoy firework displays and they burn 'They Guy' (usually sacks of straw made to look like a man, supposed to represent Guy Fawkes) on a bonfire. The rhyme 'Remember, Remember the 5th of November, Gunpowder, Treason and Plot. I see no reason why the 5th of November, should ever be forgot.' is widely known.
