The Cheetah is a Big Cat with a Stream-lined body, but it is actually more dog related than cat. It isn't as hefty as other Big Cats, its bones are hollow for speed. It also has long lean legs, and a long tail. It's fur coat has black, round quarter sized spots on top of a creamy golden coat. It's tail is striped. It has a black line running from its eyes to nose which protects its eyes/face much like the black line that football players put on their fac.

Body -The ground color of the upper parts is tawny to pale buff or grayish white. The underparts are paler, often white. The pelage is generally marked by round, black spots, set closely together and not arranged in rosettes on the body and the head. The coat is coarse and is somewhat longer on the nape than elsewhere, forming a short mane. Tail- The last third of the tail has a series of black rings, and very long helps to stabilize while jumping.
